Christmas!

Daddy and I are all dolled up to go and
sit on
Santa's lap. Daddy is looking particularly festive
in his... um... grey shirt and blue jeans, and I am
equally dazzling in my... um... jacket. Never mind.

Here we are at Santa's house next to
Santa's tree
at the mall! We had to wait for several lifetimes
but felt lucky to get in at all. Santa was turning
away children in droves, especially ones in families
who had dressed in matching outfits. Ha.

Here I am at Ahno and Grandma's house in
Detroit,
opening my stocking on Christmas Eve.
Mumsy made the stocking herself, and Santa
helpfully packed it with goodies.

I exhibited an early disinterest in
opening packages.
I tended to get one thing open and play with it
enthusiastically while refusing to open anything else.

Here I am in Wisconsin playing with
Andy. Andy
and I had a blast the whole visit, since he was
willing to chase me with big blow-up snowmen,
and amuse me with other zany antics.
Ashley was more into reading me books
and helping to keep me out of the dog food.
All very worthwhile contributions!

Here is the family in Wisconsin --
Grammy, Ashley,
Grandma Moon, Andy, Grandma Shirley, and Grandpa Bob.
That's me and Dad in the back. I'm the short one.

The Ball Pit was a present from Grammy
that enthralled
me even while still in the box. My intense yearning
for the ball pit was not to be satisfied until we got back
to Virginia, but it was worth the wait.
