Easter at Isle of Palms

For Easter week this year Ahno and Grandma
came down to Columbia and we all went to the
Isle of Palms, which is on the beach near
Charleston. I love the beach. It speaks to me.

Since it was April, it was pretty cold. Too
cold to go all the way in, but that didn't
stop me from trying. Mumsy made me wear
some embarrassing outerwear.

Isle of Palms has cabinets! I love cabinets!
You can open and close them! Repeatedly!

When the tide was out, we had a long
walk down to the ocean. When the tide
was in, it was a short walk, and no jellyfish.
I prefer the tide to be out because then
I can scamper more.

Check it out! I'm in the water.
I love the foam and the waves.
If Mama had let me, I would have ended
up in Portugal.

The condo we stayed in had a screened
porch where I could bounce balls and
eat crackers. I enjoyed going in and out
and whapping the screen.

Here's a picture of Mama and me. She's
the one wearing the dress.
