GUESS WHAT. NO PUSHING AT PRESCHOOL TODAY. GOOD REPORT FROM MR. STEVE. WHEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Steve said he did GREAT and that after two classes, he brought Benny into his office just to tell him he was doing a great job of not getting in trouble and to encourage him. I had a new pack of stickers in my purse waiting in hopes that there was good news, so he got that surprise as soon as I picked him up, and then we went straight to get ice cream. He was very proud of himself that he didn't push anyone and that he listened to the teachers. WHEW. I'm sure we're not out of the woods yet but it's very encouraging that all the remedies have at least *started* working.
After preschool we went to the grocery store to look at the lobsters (oh, and get groceries) and he of course wanted to use the potty on the way out. I got his pants down and realized HE HAD BOTH LEGS THROUGH ONE LEG HOLE in his underpants! Poor little thing! The underpants were all bunched up around his hips and he had little red marks around his tummy -- it was so sad! :) So we fixed that. It was kind of funny though. He laughed. This morning he was trying to convince me that Mr. Steve wears pull-ups and therefore Benny should wear pull-ups too. I was very firm on the point that Mr. Steve wears underpants, not pull-ups, and that persuaded him enough to wear underpants for the day. Of course after going through a couple hours with one leghole wrapped around his waist, he may not be so enthusiastic tomorrow. Hehehe. :) :)
