This is a real and true conversation that I had with Benny. I have NO IDEA what it means. He was chattering happily in the truck on the way to preschool and then he fell silent. I glanced back at him and he had his eyes squinched tight.
Me: Benny are you alright?
Benny: Yes Mommy, but I have my orange eyes in my orange head and the sun is very bright today so I need my red eyes in my red head.
Benny's Ahno has hypothesized that what he was talking about was the color he could see when he shut his eyes loosely as opposed to the darker color he could see when he shut his eyes tight and squinched them. That makes sense. But???? How weird is this kid?? :) :)
