Background: The grocery store closest to our house boasts the magical combination of a seafood counter with live lobsters and a counter attendant who is willing to get out a lobster and let Benny touch all over it and get it to pinch him. So he calls that grocery store "lobsters." We just got back from a trip to that store without Sadie -- Sadie was at home with Dad.
Benny: Mommy, you were so good at lobsters!
Me: Wow, Benny you were good at lobsters too!
Benny: And YOU were good at lobsters!
Me: And so were YOU good at lobsters. Very good!
Benny: No, I wasn't good at lobsters. I was just a racer. And I won first place!!!! WOO HOO!!! So I wasn't just a racer, but I was a winner. Hooray!
I think he meant because he unloaded his cart first, before I did. Of course his was a Little Tykes cart and all he had in it was graham crackers and fruit snacks. But... the kid is REALLY into victory these days. Senator Benny is ready to take on the competition!
