For the record, I've somehow messed up the time stamp on this blog so I'm not actually posting at 7:30 in the morning or whatever it says. But I am having a contraction. OW.
It's snowing in Virgina. Benny and I just went out to take a walk. Here are some pictures from the experience.

Some quotes:
B: "MOMMY! I want to pick up the snow!"
M: "Okay!"
B: "OOoooohhh. It's kind of snowy!"
B: "I'm playing squash and squish with the snow. Here is how you play snow. You pick up the snow. And then you throw it. And then you SQUASH SQUISH." (with accompanying squashing and squishing action from his little red boots)
M: "Benny, wait for Mommy please. Mommy is very slow."
B: "Okay Mommy, Benny will be slow too. For Mom."
:)

For those who need to know, Benny's violin concert is a week from Saturday at 10am at 1st Presbyterian Church which is across the street from the Academy of Music -- both on Colonial Avenue just south of Princess Anne.
Yesterday Benny went to preschool on Thursday for the first time. He was temporarily concerned that the different day might mean a different preschool but when we pulled into the parking lot he was quite happy and excited to get the additional education. So from now on, Tuesday *and* Thursday there is preschool.
When I went to pick him up, Ms. Jessica told me Benny did a VERY GOOD JOB LISTENING today and Ms. Claudia even came out of the classroom area to confirm that he'd done a great job. Mr. Steve joined the chorus to assure me that he'd had a big turnaround since the beginning of the year and was a fine upstanding citizen now. So that was quite cheery and I took Benny straight to get ice cream. :)
