Benny's half brother and sister are here for a visit along with his Grammy from Wisconsin! Benny is SO EXCITED that Ashley and Andy are here, he is beside himself. Example. Imagine the following said with the most urgent excitement and breathless delivery: OH ANDY. HI. WANNA PLAY GAMEBOY WITH ME. OKAY. HEY, HERE IS YOUR GAMEBOY OVER HERE. OH. THERE YOU GO. OH. I SEE MY GAMEBOY OVER THERE. LET'S GET IT. OH. I GOT MY GAMEBOY. YOU PLAYING BANDICOOT AND I AM SKATEBOARDING. OH GOOD JOB.
He was so excited last night -- they are sleeping on an air mattress in his room with him. He was chattering gaily on into the night, we could hear this in the monitor after we knew they were asleep -- he would pipe up and briskly ask, "ASHLEY? OH! ARE YOU TALKING? ARE YOU TALKING TO ANDY?" Hehehehe. He also had a fantastic time with Grammy last night in the tub and on his way to bed -- she actually got him to put the YELLOW fish in second, making orange water, instead of the standard (and rigid) order of red, blue, yellow. He discovered there were many eels and dolphins and sharks in orange water, all of whom wanted to ride the big duck, and there were a lot of very splashy struggles and dramas. It was very fun -- he was so happy. :) So all is well here in Virginia! Off to Sunday school!
