To connect to the Reception Area, type your name into the box at the top left hand corner of the chat window. Then press connect. If your name is already in use on the server, you will be prompted to choose another name. You will see a list of people in the Reception Area in the window at the right. To talk, type in the bottom window and hit return. You will see your words beside your name in the main chat window. To send a private message to someone in the room type this: /msg ThatPerson YourMessage.
