New Orleans Book Fair
I'll be at the New Orleans Book Fair on Saturday, October 26, and I have my Very Own Table at which I will be giving you tattoos, stickers, and magnets that say, "Read a Book, You Illiterate Baboon." Come and visit me and watch my Powerpoint presentation on which I spent at least 40 minutes, during which time I could have been sewing myself a costume. You can also visit my publisher, FC2, especially at the reading that will be in the evening on Friday, October 25, featuring FC2 authors and other indy press icons for example my comrade Susannah Breslin, whose book, You're a Bad Man, Aren't You? will be launching at the fair. |
Domain
Name Hijacking! Some people with no soul managed to yank my domain name from under my pert, pregnant bottom just recently. So, if you go to the actual lilylit.com, which you of course never ever would from now on, you would find some sort of hideous den of literary agents or something. Very naughty. While I rearrange myself and figure out what I'm going to do about things, my temporary address is http://www.rpsd.com/lilylit/ as you see. I need to redo the whole site of course since I no longer want to vet manuscripts or do author web sites, unless I know you and love you. Here are some other sites you might like to see, if you like me:

Florida Mini-Tour! Old news, but last February I wrote this: This week I am getting on a plane and flying south to Florida where I will spend a few days hobnobbing with FC2 comrades and doing some readings. Please come and see me if you can. March right up and introduce yourself -- I would love to see you there. I'm reading with my favorite Frenchman and the godfather of postmodernism, Raymond Federman. Here is the schedule: Tuesday, Feb 18, Noon Tuesday, Feb 18, 8:00 PM Wednesday, Feb 19,

High Drama in the Classroom! Thanks
to Cam Tatham, a very
interesting critifictionist and a damn fine educator, my novel, High Drama
in Fabulous Toledo, was inflicted on a group of undergraduate literature
students at the University of
New Book In the Works! My new novel will be called How to Tell Toledo From the Night Sky unless you can come up with a better title. Save me! Please! It's about astronomers and love and postmodernism in the rust belt. If I can clean the baby food off the manuscript. |
