LOOK AT THAT BOY OF YOURS!!! OH, LYDIA. HOW DID WE LET OUR CHILDREN GROW UP SO MUCH????? he looks wonderful and his vest is fantastic. he is just beaming. i can't wait to hear all about his performance. i was thinking of you and of benny and knowing that it was all going to go so well.

While on the one hand it was good to know that Benny is capable of behaving like "all the other children", I missed the wild and crazy Benny who has made other events so very, very special. Saturday was nice, but it was just a recital. All that behavior and propriety needed the real Benny to balance it's yang with his yin.
