Was he sleeping or just trying avoidance?
Avoidance. Via sleeping. He pretends to be asleep sometimes. He also really REALLY really does not like the suction thingy? Which they always try to use anyway? He prefers to swallow whatever noxious substances they're using to improve his teeth.
