Day Three
Today I am still X-3. I have got to buckle down and get serious. No more of this Cheez-its and ice cream and whatnot. This is MAY MELTDOWN, not... like... Narnia or something.
At ten o'clock is the first meeting of Happy Tales Book Club at the library, a project my friend Veronica and I have cooked up. I was up late last night making house pockets out of cardstock for the kids to decorate and then embellish with the little flat wooden pets they earn for attending. I hope it all goes well or I will lose my mind. My typical great attitude. Yay. We'll see how it goes, trying to lead this, corral the two-year-old, and assuage Benny's sensitivities.
Today's lesson is setting. Here's a link to our web site for this homeschool book club.
In other news, the schedule is going really well. Benny is now totally in charge of it -- should have been from the beginning -- this is his thing, I'm doing it for him, he's the one that's supposed to be enjoying it (and he is) so why not let him totally own it? Yesterday he scheduled us down to 45 minute periods. Nice.
