Happy Tales Book Club

Happy Tales Book Club went GREAT. There were lots of kids. About 10 of book-report-giving age and then lots of little brothers and sisters. The kids loved the houses (even the older ones, which surprised me) and decorated them with stickers and markers and stuff, then did their reports. I had a game to play with setting and a book to read aloud to them in which setting is important (Horton Hears a Who!) but by the time we finished all their reports it was 11:00 so we had a brief little talk about setting and then went outside to play in the glorious weather. It was totally great and fun, and I had a great time. Benny was very well behaved. I didn't take any pictures -- too busy juggling children and books.
