Good Guess Deb

Shepherd's Pie is a good guess but it's actually something else, something more sinister, it is... BEEF BURGER PIE WITH CHEESE PUFF!!!!

To me it was beefamato paste with a cheese hardhat. The puff was not at all puffy. It was also not crunchy. It was more... thick. Dan had seconds though, so, hey. He thought it was more like stew that had hard biscuits on top. He's generous that way, though, and wants to encourage me when I get all crazed and start trying to cook things with ingredients.

I actually wasn't trying to make you guess -- the question mark reflected my feelings about the way it all turned out. The funny/awful/typical thing is that I submitted this HORRID photo to be the photo for this recipe on their web site, even though it's not my recipe, ANYONE can submit a photo *CACKLE* so whatever well-meaning person posted this recipe may find this dark, strange picture illustrating his/her efforts!
