This place has been around *forever* I remember seeing it as a little kid and thinking, WTH-OMG can they call it that?
The true definition of a Bunghole is a hole that can be used to pour wine out of a wine cask. And it's a fitting name for a liquor store...
This store is located in Peabody, MA. They actually sell t-shirts with the store name across the front.
This is in or around the north shore area (Peabody, Salem) and not even close to Boston.
I could have sworn I'd seen that in the South End
That's almost as good as "Beaver Liquors" as seen in Beaver, Colorado.
I recall seeing a Bunghole Liquors on the South Shore as well. Somewhere around the border of Hull/Hingham/Cohasset.
It's a pirate expression, sillies :p
I used to drive by this every day. In Salem, MA there's a liquor store called simply 'The Bunghole'.
I want to own stock in this place!
