Connecticut.

Here we are in foggy and fabulous Connecticut.

Yesterday the rehearsal dinner was at Mystic Seaport which is an Olde Time Towne, kinda like Williamsburg, but a reproduction of a 19th century little port town including tall ships and little stores and houses and whatnot. Very wonderful, especially seeing it empty after hours, with fog, and the water all ghostly still.

When I got to the internet-rich hotel I discovered that the wedding present we'd had shipped up here will not be ready until MONDAY. Which doesn't help us AT ALL. Since the wedding is today.

Thanks, Fedex. Thanks, Shutterfly. It was supposed to be there yesterday, so much for their estimation.

Off we go to consume coffee and eggs. Everything will look better then, I feel confident.
