      ( 4:24 PM ) Lostcheerio
This morning after puking four times and almost passing out I decided I had to have help immediately, and of course couldn't get in to the OB/GYN, so I went to urgent care. After they confirmed that yes, I am pregnant (surprise), they prescribed Zofran for my nausea/vomiting. This is something that's for post-operative patients or chemotherapy patients, but it is pregnancy class B which the doctor says means it is SAFE. I hope that is true -- doing some more research now.

I took one, I'm feeling a little better already, and my husband said, "Of COURSE you're feeling better! Of COURSE it's going to work perfectly! Because it's.... THIRTY DOLLARS A PILL!" That's right. We had them fill 4 pills to see if the drug would work and after our crappy insurance "helped" it was still $98. For a two day supply!!! ACK ACK ACK!!! I'm almost hoping to find out that it's not really safe or well tested on pregnant women so I will be forced to use compazine instead -- which doesn't work well for me, but which we can at least afford. Whew. What a day.
