Thursday, September 18, 2003       ( 7:59 AM ) Lostcheerio   First casualty of Isabel at our house: Dan's Wall Street Journal. *sniff* The neighbors evacuated but kindly and thoughtfully left a GIANT BROKEN WATER HEATER out on the curb, which the garbage man kindly and helpfully DID NOT TAKE, so it is sitting out there biding its time like a bullet in a gun, ready to shoot through our bedroom window when the 100 mph winds arrive. Hehehe. Plenty of debris on the ground and cars and it's pretty windy but the rain really isn't too bad. So far the carpet is dry. #
