Tuesday, February 10, 2004 ( 6:55 PM ) Lostcheerio Well I voted today for the first time in 12 years. I voted for Howard Dean in the democratic primary. Useless in a way, I know, since he didn't get the 15 percent necessary to score delegates from Virginia. But how useful is one vote anyway? It was the first time I felt like voting since Clinton ran against Bush Sr. Dan voted too. Actually Benny voted too -- he went in to the polling place and chatted with everyone working there. And he pushed the buttons for me on the Diebold machine. So, hey. Democracy in action. We voted in the primary, our guy didn't pull any delegates away from the undead Kerry, and the only purpose for it all was the interest of participation. I guess I'm interested again. LOOK OUT WASHINGTON. Heh heh. Looks like we'll have our new van on Thursday. I decided on silver. # |
