Friday, April 02, 2004       ( 5:25 PM ) Lostcheerio   WELL! I am completely retarded. Sadie's Grammy had the sense to recommend a silicone binky -- WELL SHE IS TAKING IT. We have yet to try and use it during the "witching hour" between 6 and 8 when she's all crabby and whatnot, but FOR NOW it looks like absolute magic and HOW STUPID AM I that this did not occur to me? NOT A RUBBER BINKY! A SILICONE BINKY! It's what Benny used too -- I don't know why I didn't think of it?! I'm hesitant to say "She's taking a binky" since I've said that before and had to retract it. But... it looks like she might be taking a binky. Benny played so sweetly and happily with Sadie today it almost made me weep 85 times. He shared a blanket with her, and said, "I love you Sadie" and all kinds of stuff. He played "Sit-em-up" with her (Sadie is enjoying pulling herself up to sitting with her hands around someone's thumbs) and also played "Gonna get you" with the bugs from his game. She liked both of those games mightily. She likes Benny enormously. And who wouldn't? :) #
