Friday, April 02, 2004 ( 6:35 PM ) Lostcheerio SADIE IS ASLEEP WITH THE BINKY IN HER MOUTH. THIS IS THE TIME OF THE DAY WHERE SHE TYPICALLY SCREAMS HER HEAD OFF UNLESS AT LEAST ONE ADULT IS FULLY ATTENDANT TO HER CARE. TOTING HER AROUND AND BOUNCING HER AND LETTING HER SUCK ON A LITTLE FINGER. AND NOW SHE IS SLEEPING. WITH BINKY. I LOVE BINKY. # ( 5:25 PM ) Lostcheerio WELL! I am completely retarded. Sadie's Grammy had the sense to recommend a silicone binky -- WELL SHE IS TAKING IT. We have yet to try and use it during the "witching hour" between 6 and 8 when she's all crabby and whatnot, but FOR NOW it looks like absolute magic and HOW STUPID AM I that this did not occur to me? NOT A RUBBER BINKY! A SILICONE BINKY! It's what Benny used too -- I don't know why I didn't think of it?! I'm hesitant to say "She's taking a binky" since I've said that before and had to retract it. But... it looks like she might be taking a binky. Benny played so sweetly and happily with Sadie today it almost made me weep 85 times. He shared a blanket with her, and said, "I love you Sadie" and all kinds of stuff. He played "Sit-em-up" with her (Sadie is enjoying pulling herself up to sitting with her hands around someone's thumbs) and also played "Gonna get you" with the bugs from his game.
