Sunday, June 06, 2004       ( 6:13 PM ) Lostcheerio   SADIE ATE BANANA. We were at the monthly church breakfast and Ms. Peggy was holding Sadie so I could eat and Sadie was yearning and yearning for food and Ms. Peggy suggested that she eat some banana and I said ALRIGHT. After all, when I was a baby, banana was my first food and a nurse gave it to me! And Ms. Peggy is a nurse! So. She ate banana scrapings off a spoon and after the first bite, she opened her mouth WIDE like a little egret and grabbed the spoon and pulled it toward her! She ate some lovely banana scrapings and then went into a deep slumber so Peggy took her to grown-up Sunday school and then brought her upstairs to me. She survived solid food!
